Community Play
As part of the projects supported by Terre des Hommes-Netherlands, WORD co-ordinated to convene this year community play mela in Namakkal this year. A preparatory planning meet held at WORD office, Namakkal in this regard on 29th September 2010 to finalise the things related to Community Play Mela 2010- Tamilnadu Zone. The Tamilnadu zonal level community play held on 30th October 2010 in Government Hr. Sec. School (North) campus in Namakkal. To mark this program, a rally and a photo exhibition were also conducted prior to the start of the event. The children from the partner NGOs in Tamilnadu zone along with WORD children participated in various sports organised on this day. Click here for the detailed report on this Community Play. |
