Right Ranga CampaignIn an attempt to create a buzz about HIV, APAC has mooted a state level teaser campaign in Tamilnadu called ‘Right Ranga’. APAC thought a prime way to deliver all varieties of HIV/AIDS messages would be through one central character. Out of this idea came Right Ranga.
Two months long Right Ranga Campaign activities were co-ordinated in Namakkal District by WORD NGO from September 2006- October 2006. Under the campaign, a wide range of banners, stickers, posters were exhibited in all the prominent places in Namakkal District highlighting Right Ranga messages. Awareness exhibitions and street plays were also conducted in prominent areas. A youth convention in Namakkal and a women rally in Pallipalayam were conducted to mark the campaign. Two Right Ranga Clubs were started as part of the campaign activities. |
