WORD runs a tailoring center to impart fashion designing in Namakkal with the support of Terre des Hommes, Netherlands. Currently this center provides the following courses.
- Certificate Course in Fashion Technology.
- Certificate Course in Embroidery.
As a follow up effort, WORD links the trainees by providing the job work to earn extra income. Linkages were established with the garnment units in and around Namakkal. Currently orders were got to stich frock, pattiala, churidhar and midi.
